			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So here’s the deal, I am all for a healthy diet. I think our bodies work better when we put good nutrition in it. The thing is though, we don&#8217;t always have time to grill an organic chicken breast and prepare all natural green beans from our garden out back.<a href="http://fitwerkspersonaltraining.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/chickenandgreenbeans.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-821" title="chickenandgreenbeans" src="http://fitwerkspersonaltraining.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/chickenandgreenbeans.jpg" alt="" width="275" height="183" /></a></p>
<p>See for me this is one of the things that stands in most people’s progress in losing fat. There are lots of different methods for eating for weight loss. The bottom line though, is that the only diet that really works is one that you can live with and stick to. For years I have taught a lot of these methods and many of them do work (if you stick to them). So today I am going to go ahead and commit a “trainer” cardinal sin.</p>
<p>Here it goes…</p>
<p>If fast food is your only option, it’s still OK. You just have to make better choices.</p>
<p>See, after studying this over the last few years, dieting for weight loss comes down to these 3 things:</p>
<p>1. Calories in vs. calories out is the number one ingredient (which means they have to be counted).</p>
<p>2. Meal frequency isn’t that important (although you should still eat at least 3 times a day).</p>
<p>3. Avoiding simple processed carbohydrates in the evening will speed up fat loss.</p>
<p>Now just to be sure, I have tried myself to follow these rules and have noticed no difference in my physique as to when I only ate a 100% “nutritious” diet.</p>
<p>Basically, if you want to have fruity pebbles for breakfast with your protein shake, go ahead. But you have to count those calories. What I’m saying is you can still eat tasty food and lose weight.</p>
<p>So my advice is that no matter your diet plan, you should get at least one gram of protein for every 1lb of body weight. But your overall calories have to fall within your caloric restrictions.</p>
<p>Don’t get me wrong, a bowl of oatmeal better for you than fruity pebbles, of course it is. You have less preservatives and more nutrients and fiber, but my point is that if you eat good, healthy food 80% of the time and tasty “junk” foods 20% of the time you will still get results. Better yet, your results will probably be better since you will actually stick with it.<a href="http://fitwerkspersonaltraining.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/fruity-pebbles.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-824" title="fruity pebbles" src="http://fitwerkspersonaltraining.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/fruity-pebbles.jpg" alt="" width="187" height="269" /></a></p>
<p>So if on occasion you want to have Orange Leaf for dinner, then go ahead and do it. You just have to count the calories and make sure they fit into your daily allowance. This in Combination with a rigorous exercise routine is what you need to realize your fitness and fat loss goals. <p><strong>Tired?? Overweight?? Low back pain?? Sit at a desk all day?? </strong><br />
Many of us now have jobs that require us to sit for long periods of time staring at a computer screen. Prior to the technology revolution, very few people were required to sit throughout the entire day. With the progression of technology, we as a society have become very lazy. Obesity, diabetes, depression, chronic fatigue and back pain are just a few issues that have skyrocketed in prevalence in the last 10 years. Why is that? Your body by design is not made to remain in a sitting position for long periods of time.  By design you should on your feet and moving. Interestingly enough, the human body is very skilled at adapting to what it is given. Naturally if you sit for long periods of time, your body begins to think that sitting is the normal position it is supposed to be in. Just look at your posture. Is your head shifted in front of your shoulders? Do your shoulders roll forward? Do your muscles always feel tight? If so, most likely your body is already adapting to you sitting. Now the other negative aspect of sitting is the level of inactivity. Sedentary lifestyles are a major factor in people experiencing chronic stress symptoms such as obesity, diabetes, and depression.  Again, your body is designed to be moving!! If you are not moving, your body is dying because MOTION IS LIFE!! What can you do to change your life? First, you must recognize and understand things do not develop overnight. Second, you must commit to changing your lifestyle. Simple stretches and exercises to correct your posture can make a huge difference. For instance, arm-leg opposition is a great total body exercise that can help your posture, build a strong core, and help your balance.</p>
<p>To perform this exercise:</p>
<p>Begin on all fours, aligning your knees under your hips and your wrists under your shoulders.<br />
Raise your left arm to shoulder height and your left leg to hip height.<br />
Hold for 2 counts, reaching forward with your fingers and back with your heels.<br />
Repeat this exercise on the opposite side.<br />
Do 15 to 20 reps, alternating sides</p>
<p>Another key component to remember is that flexibility is as important as strength. Focus more on stretching your flexor muscle groups such as your hamstrings, calves, and chest because these are the muscle groups shortened when you sit.<br />

<h2>Dates &amp; Schedule- &amp; what you are getting yourself into</h2>
<p><strong>Program start date:</strong>     January 10th 2011</p>
<p><strong>Weigh in photo date:</strong>    Saturday January 8th 2011</p>
<p><strong>Training Sessions:</strong></p>
<p>You will recieve Unlimited Private Group Training Sessions so that you can train as much as you want, as well as have the option to attend boot camps throughout the week.  Training sessions and boot camps from warm up to stretch will take under an hour to complete.  It is expected (if you want to see real results) that you attend at least 3 workouts per week. You will have the option to train even more if you really want to crank it out!</p>
<p>We know you are busy, everyone is!.  We have training sessions starting as early as 5:15 am and going till 8:00pm most days.  So we  always have a time that will fit into your busy schedule so NO MORE EXCUSES!</p>
<p><strong>Nutrition:</strong></p>
<p>You will be given a manual that will contain all you need to get your nutrition started on the right foot.   Everything from an actuall meal plan, supplement guide, expected calorie levels to maximize results.   There will also be videos to help explain everything to you.</p>
<p><strong>Coaching:</strong></p>
<p>Additional coaching sessions will be scheduled weekly after the first week.  The exact days and times for these will come later throughout the program. </p>
<p>This is the secret formula that I was telling you about earlier.  You will be held personally accountable to me and vice-versa.  Besides if you fail, it makes me look bad.  So I will do everything in my power to push and motivate you to reach your goals.</p>
